Southern Literary Novel Islands

Islands, by Anne Rivers Siddons

Sometimes dreams come true, and sometimes we don’t know they’re nightmares until we wake up. Thirty-five-year-old Anny Butler has given up on marrying when she meets pediatric surgeon Lewis Aiken through her children’s services work. Lewis introduces her to The Scrubs, a small group of doctors who grew up together in the Carolina Low Country and their spouses. Scrubs members welcome Anny into their close-knit community and are delighted when she and Lewis marry in literary novel ISLANDS. Anny knows she has found her true home … until Scrubs members begin to die and she barely escapes the same fate.
