Southern Literary Novel Islands

Islands, by Anne Rivers Siddons

Sometimes dreams come true, and sometimes we don’t know they’re nightmares until we wake up. Thirty-five-year-old Anny Butler has given up on marrying when she meets pediatric surgeon Lewis Aiken through her children’s services work. Lewis introduces her to The Scrubs, a small group of doctors who grew up together in the Carolina Low Country, and their spouses. The Scrubs welcome Anny into their close-knit community and are delighted when she and Lewis marry in literary novel ISLANDS. Anny knows she has found her true home… until Scrubs members begin to die and she barely escapes the same fate.
