Chemo, Cherry’s six-foot-nine, weed-whacker-wielding bodyguard, likes Ann and refuses to “hush” her permanently to save Cherry’s career, leaving Ann free to rescue the twenty-two-year-old entertainer from a life rapidly spiraling toward a much anticipated early death.
