Romance Roses and Champagne

Roses and Champagne, by Betty Neels

Landed gentry Katrina Gibson and Lucius Massey have been best friends Katrina’s entire twenty-seven years. But when Lucius begins “walking out” with Katrina’s younger sister, Virginia, in British romance ROSES AND CHAMPAGNE, Katrina reexamines her life and finds it wanting. Virginia soon dumps Lucius for another suitor while claiming Lucius broke her heart by preferring her sister. Lucius and Katrina become engaged to give credence to Virginia’s lie, but the charade wears thin when Katrina falls in love with Lucius. To save their friendship, she breaks off the engagement only to learn that Lucius has loved her all along.
