With Halloween and other holidays fast approaching, an abandoned Victorian home seems the perfect location for Samantha Sweet’s burgeoning Taos chocolatier business—until an armed robber appears at the door in series magical cozy mystery SPOOKY SWEET. When Sam’s county sheriff husband learns the stolen money is hidden on the property, he rushes there and finds the robbers safely secured in the carriage house after Sam’s magical box locks them in. Sam uses energy from the box to help heal the wounded armored-car driver, and the teenage informant receives enough reward money to pay for her college education. Case closed.
