When tragedy strikes their Norwegian friend, Bostonians Pix Miller and her mother, Ursula, join a tour in Norway to investigate the disappearance of their friend’s granddaughter, Kari, and the death of Kari’s fiancé in Faith Fairchild mystery THE BODY IN THE FJORD. Suspects abound as a spray-painted swastika appears on the hotel lawn and Pix discovers the body of a New Jersey importer with his head bashed in. Ursula solves those mysteries, but it is Pix who is kidnapped and imprisoned with Kari until the two escape and expose the antiquities smuggling ring responsible for the crimes.
