When young, widowed Janet Mueller, a valued member of his Sanibel Island marina community, goes missing after a boating accident, Doc Ford is determined to find her in series action thriller TWELVE MILE LIMIT. The Coast Guard gives up searching and others give up hope, but Doc, a marine biologist with a darker past, obtains evidence that Janet and her dive buddies have been abducted and follows the trail, accompanied by lone survivor Amelia Gardner, who is fast winning his heart, to Colombia where Doc will do everything it takes to bring at least one of the missing back home.
