As December approaches and the final calendar icon is Caroline’s childhood home, now Mick’s property, Caroline and Mick discover who the culprit is and that Caroline herself embodies the ultimate target for his revenge. Not until the would-be killer holds a gun to Caroline’s head does Mick’s bravery vanquish his demons and Caroline realize that she wants more from life than her professional career can provide.
