Above the Fold, by Amber Adams
During an early morn St. Augustine jog, I trip over the body of local college president Burnett Lansing, still clothed in sixteenth-century Spanish finery from last night’s gala but now with a dagger sticking out of his chest. As a news reporter, I naturally want to investigate the murder. Then Lansing’s secretary is killed. Now my friend and protégé is Suspect Number One for both murders in Day McKelvey mystery ABOVE THE FOLD. I do find the killer, but unfortunately, the killer also finds me. Note to self: If you survive to jog again, next time watch your feet!
