Above the Fold, by Amber Adams
During an early morn St. Augustine jog, I trip over the body of local college president Burnett Lansing, still clothed in sixteenth-century Spanish finery from last night’s gala but now with a dagger sticking out of his chest. As a news reporter, I naturally want to investigate the murder. Then Lansing’s secretary is killed. Now my friend and protégé is Suspect Number One for both murders in Day McKelvey mystery debut ABOVE THE FOLD. I do find the killer, but unfortunately, the killer also finds me. Note to self: If you survive to jog again, next time watch your feet!
