The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green
Most sixteen-year-old American girls think their lives are crap, but when you’re facing terminal cancer and have to lug an oxygen tank everywhere you go, life really does suck – until you meet hot, one-legged seventeen-year-old Augustus in teen novel THE FAULT IN OUR STARS. They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but I say mine is someone who uses his Cancer Wish to escort me to Amsterdam in hopes of discovering the ending of my favorite “unfinished” novel. I may never know that story’s ending, but I know mine will be triumphant and heroic and brimming with love.
