Coffin Road, by Peter May:
Mankind’s fate hangs in the balance after a biologist finds himself washed ashore in the Outer Hebrides with no idea who he is in eco-thriller COFFIN ROAD. While searching for answers to his identity and to who killed the man he found dead at the Flannan Isles lighthouse, his teenage daughter discovers that her father, believed dead for two years, is alive and follows his trail to the same remote location where both face death at the hands of agrochemical henchmen paid to retrieve the biologist’s secret test results on the effects of neonicotinoid pesticides on bees.
